Cooking Instructions
- Leave PAPER ON buns for ALL cooking instructions:
- STOVETOP:
From frozen:
In a steamer basket, steam buns for 14 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. - For best results:
Thaw bunds in refrigerator overnight.
In a steamer basket, steam buns for 8 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. - MICROWAVE:
From thawed*, wrap each bun in a wet paper towel and microwave on high for 45 seconds.
*We DO NOT recommend microwaving frozen buns. - Make sure to let cool before enjoying.
- On high heat, bring 6 cups of water to a rapid boil
- Carefully drop 8-12 dumplings in the water and stir. Bring water back to boil
- Once at rapid boil, turn the heat to medium and continue cooking for about 6 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165˚F. Remove with a slotted spoon.
- Optional step for pan-seared style:Heat 2 TB oil in pan over medium-high heat, place dumplings in pan flat side down. Add water to partially submerge dumplings. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Remove cover & wait until water evaporates & dumplings are seared golden, remove after 3-4 minutes.
